Gourmet Herbs "Cheese" (125g) - Organic
Whether cream cheese or feta cheese - both gain aroma through the finest herbs. It would be laughed at if a vegan cheese substitute couldn't do that, right? So we tried it and this was how the full-bodied Gourmet Herbs 'Cheese' was created. It gets its unique note from the wonderful mix of lovage, rosemary and oregano herbs. The verdict? A delicacy that can do everything!
Spread it on bread, throw it over pasta and pizza or as use in salads, sauces and soups!
Ingredients: Cashew nuts * (70%), coconut oil *, starter cultures (Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum), lovage * (0.2%), rosemary * (0.1%), oregano *, pink Crystal salt.

This enjoyable classic is a sensitive product with a relatively short best-before date. Therefore, we unfortunately had to put a plastic film on it - but one thing you can believe us, we don't find it particularly chic either. We would have liked to have wrapped it in paper, as with Camembert, but unfortunately it is too moist for that. An additional cardboard box prevents the cheese substitute from being crushed and keeping its shape. But yes, as a vegan and sustainable brand, we feel absolutely obliged to look for more environmentally friendly alternatives - after all, ingredients and packaging go hand in hand. We are not perfect, but we always keep our eyes and ears open.
